A 2001 archival photograph of the two iconic bisaya novelty singers Max Surban and Yoyoy Villame locked in on the Playstation. Best known for 70’s radio hits Magellan, Butsekik, and Philippine Geography, the duo had become lifelong friends, sharing stages and eventually releasing albums Yoyoy vs. Max: Dobol Trobol Ramble volumes 1 & 2. A tribute to a duo who’ve raised generations on their tunes in the airwaves over puto and sikwate.
